The vines of the FLOJAGUE castle are situated on the hills of the
" St Emilionnais ", to the north of the Dordogne valley.
According to this geological map of the region of Libourne,
impressed at the end of the XIXth century, the ground of these hills
is composed of " Calcaire
à Astéries ", more precisely, there are clays, created by decalcification of the limestone and silicas
of wind origin.
